Nine Gees is a fiddle-singer, songwriter and composer based in Germany and the Netherlands. In 2025, she successfully completed her master’s degree in Irish traditional music performance at the University of Limerick in Ireland, with a minor in fiddle-singing-songwriting.
Soon after she started making music, she was booked as violinist from various bands like „Rapalje“ and „Kupfergold“ to perform with them on festivals like “Mittelalterlich Phantasie Spectaculum (MPS)“ and “Wacken Open Air“.
Since the start of her career in 2018, she has recorded three albums and six singles with various bands and artists.
Two of these albums feature her own compositions.
For six years, she took care of the booking and management of the folk-rock newcomer band “The Green Goblins“ and performed with them at festivals in Switzerland.
Nine Gees discovered her musical talent as an adult. In October 2016, at the age of 23, she began learning the violin and making music in general. Just two years later, she was invited to perform as a violinist at festivals in Europe and subsequently founded her own company as a musician in 2019.
